Long description: The universal programmable Battery Guard prevents excessive discharge of the battery and protects electric appliances against over-voltage.

If the battery stays under the disconnect level longer than 15 seconds, the alarm contact will be activated. The BG30 will disconnect the connected equipment when the situation does not change within a minute. At the same time the alarm contact will turn off.

When the battery voltage will rise again the equipment will be connected again as soon as the voltage reaches the Switch-On level. At an overvoltage , by example on account of a bad alternator, the equipment will be disconnected also tom prevent damage to the equipment. The alarm will be activated on and off for a minute.
